Adeloud

For the Adeloud event, InTension established a unique consultancy and fabrication bridge with the University of Adelaide’s architecture department. We led a seven-week intensive residency, moving beyond traditional delivery to mentor students in the mechanics of tensile fabric architecture and the principles of temporary structural design. This collaboration empowered the students to take the lead, resulting in a bold, student-designed focal point that integrated the University’s signature colours into a high-impact structural form. The project was widely acclaimed for its technical execution and visual presence, serving as both a functional event space and a real-world showcase of architectural mentorship. For InTension, this partnership remains a benchmark for our commitment to community-driven innovation and the fusion of professional engineering with academic creativity.
